Statistics show that (1) social isolation is on the rise and (2) the number of close friends someone would say that they have is decreasing. Considering that having a strong social network is one of the key factor in general happiness, overall health, and prolonged longevity, my hope is that this podcast will serve to bring awareness to the issue as well as provide a platform to start solving the problem, together!

Pairing is done by randomizing the entire pen pal club email list so that each person is assigned to contact the next person down the list (the last person will be e-mailing to the first person at the top of the list)!
This means that every month you will be personally connected with 2 friends from the community — (1) someone who you will write to and (1) someone who will write to you!
The entire email list (+ one social media handle of your choice) is publicly shared within the club so everyone has the opportunity to reach out and connect with anyone else.
